My Story:

From Innate Creativity to Purposeful Design

Design has always been part of who I am — it’s just how I see the world. I notice the small details others might overlook — patterns, textures, colors — and I’ve always wanted to know how things work, why they look the way they do, and how I can make them better.

One defining moment came right after college when I landed my first real job in NYC's Garment District. Most of my friends were still struggling to break into the industry. Back then, fashion programs didn’t teach us Photoshop or Illustrator, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me. I taught myself, blending my hand-illustrated designs with digital artwork to build a portfolio that stood out. That combination of old-school skills and new-school tech got me the job — proof that a little extra effort can make a big difference.

That experience set the tone for my career. I kept honing my skills, eventually becoming so confident in digital design that I taught it to fashion students after moving to South Florida. I didn’t know it at the time, but those early challenges were shaping the creative path I’m on today.

It took me a while to find my own lane — blending my love for fashion and interiors in a way that felt natural and uniquely mine. But now, I know this is it. My creativity today is all about helping others who might not have the skills I do get their ideas out of their heads and into reality. Not everyone can afford to make full-scale samples or prototypes, but through creative mockups, styled visuals, and thoughtful design, I can help them show what they mean without breaking the bank.

I didn’t have a big breakthrough early on. My creative journey has been more of a slow build — no flashy wins, just consistent work. I’m almost at “retirement” age, but honestly, I feel like I’m just now hitting my stride. It’s been challenging, but I love what I do, and I’m determined to make it count.

Looking ahead, I want to help more small business owners with their creative visions while also collaborating with larger brands to get my creativity recognized. I’m not just in this for the financial stability — though that’s part of it — but for the satisfaction of knowing I made an impact and did something good with the talents I’ve nurtured over the years.

This is my lane, my journey, and I’m here to keep creating, evolving, and sharing it with those who are ready to make their ideas come to life.
